I looked around my kitchen today and found some sausages ( so I used instead of bacon) , eggs and a half box of spaghetti left, so I started to think of this Carbonara, but let check if I have the Parmesan cheese. ok ! great I do :) let's start
Prep time : 10 mins Cook time : 15 mins Servings : 2
Simple Ingredient :
- 6 ounces Spaghetti ( any variety you have)
- 2 smoked sausages ( chopped small)
- 3 eggs Yolk
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream ( but I didn't have, so this time I used whole milk)
** for better preparation and taste, you can cook it with minced garlic & peas
- Cook Pasta (according to the package direction)
- Pan-fry chopped sausages until they are crispy (while pasta is cooking), then set on the side
- mix smoothly Egg Yolk in the bowl with heavy cream and Parmesan (keep some for deco on top later)
- The pasta should be done - drain the hot water, but Do not rinse in cold water.
- Transfer dried pasta into the mixed egg bowl, with Black pepper & salt
- Stir together well all time until the sauce becomes thicker with pasta.
- Put the crispy sausage on top and combined them together
- Place them on 2 plates, finish them with extra grated Parmesan
Quick Enjoy & Delicious :)
